The members of the Goolwa CFS brigade recently held a Cadet drive - resulting in 24 new Cadets and Junior Firefighters (aged under 18 years). A Station Open day was held, with over 50 people attending. The Open day also provided members of the community to an opportunity to see the CFS at work - with Road Crash Rescue (RCR) demonstrations, and firefighting demonstrations. Several local businesses also contributed towards the Open day. Those businesses include Barrell Surf Australia, Suround Sound, Tonkins Sports scene, Port Elliot Crash, and Encounter Coast Crash Repairs. The Goolwa CFS is always looking for new members. Please contact the Goolwa CFS (check it out via "Find a Station" on this site), or contact 1300 364 587 for more information
