The Port Elliot EFS / CFS will celebrate 50 years of service to the community on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th Feb 2008 Saturday commences with the station opening at 11am, with the Official start at 1.30pm. The festivities includes brief history about the EFS/CFS, Minute Silence for Past Members (names will be read out) Unveiling of Appliance Bay Name Plaque, Unveiling of Honour Boards, Commissioning of New Fire Unit/s, Medal Presentations (if available) and Afternoon Tea. There will be an Evening meal from 6.30pm. Sunday will include an Open Day for General Public from 10am to 4pm (Sausage Sizzle/BBQ during the day) The Pt Elliot CFS is keen to make contact with past members, If you know the locations of past members, please contact them for us and inform them of the upcoming event.
