History of One Tree Hill CFS publication

The One Tree Hill CFS has released a history of the brigade to coincide with their 50th anniversary that was held on 15th May 2010.

The author of the book is One Tree Hill CFS Life Member Bevis Dixon.

The book is entitled:
“From Khaki to Yellow – fifty years of emergency service - a history of the One Tree Hill Country Fire Service from 1960 to 2010”

The story of the brigade is recounted from the early years in the 1960s with one truck garaged in an old wooden shed to a modern 6 bay station. The history is amply illustrated with black and white and colour photographs.
