Refubished 34 for Pondooma

Pondooma took delivery of a refurbished 34 today. The new Pondooma 34 is based on a 2010 Isuzu FTS800 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by SEM Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Hatz 4L41C motor / Gaam Mk450 pump. It comes fitted with driving lights and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw. It was previously based at Rapid Bay. It replaces the existing 28 year old Hino based Pondooma 34, which will be sent to salvage. Thanks Andrew Hogg for the photo.
