New 34P for Mil Lel

Mil Lel took delivery of a new 34P today. The new Mil Lel 34P is based on a 2021 Isuzu FTS 139-260 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011W motor / Darley HE500 pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It comes fitted with an LED light bar and Engel fridge, and equipped with battery powered tools - including a Stihl chainsaw, a Stihl quick cut saw and Ramfan Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV) fan. It replaces the existing 17 year old Isuzu based Mil Lel 34, which will be sent to another brigade. Thanks Dean Norman for the photo.
