Bool Lagoon took delivery of a refurbished 34 today.

The new Bool Lagoon 34 is based on a 2012 Isuzu FTS800 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water.

Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Darley HE500 pump.

It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system.

It comes fitted with driving lights and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw.

It was previously based at Port Clinton.

It replaces the existing 28 year old Hino based Bool Lagoon 24, which will be sent for disposal.
