BW7 for Region 6

Region 6 took delivery of a refurbished Bulk Water Carrier (BWC) on Friday. The new Region 6 BW7 is based on a 2008 Isuzu FTR900, is 4 x 2 and carries 7000 litres of water. Built by AJ Stock, it is fitted with a Deutz F2L2011 motor / Darley HE500 pump. It comes fitted with driving lights and a Dometic fridge. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It was previously based at Coorong Group. It replaces the existing 30 year old Scania based State BW10 which will be sent for disposal. Thanks Dean Norman for the photo.
