Parndana took delivery of a new 24P today.

The new Parndana 24P is based on a 2021 Isuzu FTS 139-260 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 2000 litres of water.

Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011W motor / Darley HE500 pump.

It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system.

It comes fitted with an LED light bar and Engel fridge, and equipped with battery powered tools - including a Stihl chainsaw, a Stihl quick cut saw and a Ramfan Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV) fan.

The appliance also carries a full set of Road Crash Rescue equipment and four Breathing Apparatus sets.

It replaces the existing Isuzu based Parndana 24P, which will become a Kangaroo Island spare.

Thanks Braeden Gatt for the photo.
