Nairne CFS celebrates 80 years of service

Last night (Saturday) Nairne Country Fire Service held a dinner to celebrate 80 years of service to their community. The dinner was attended by past and present members of the brigade and their families and supporters, representatives of Nairne District Residents Association and Nairne Lions Club, Mt Barker Council Mayor David Leach, CFS Chief Brett Loughlin and Vice President of the CFS Foundation, Nathan Watts. Four members were presented with life membership of the brigade. The night also saw the launch a book on the history of the brigade - 80 years of Nairne Fire Service. Congratulations Nairne CFS on your milestone.
