44 for Avenue Range

Avenue Range took delivery of a refurbished 44 tonight. The new Avenue Range 44 is based on a 2021 Isuzu FTS139-260, is 4 x 4 and carries 4000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire, it is fitted with a Deutz F3L2011 motor / Darley 2.5 AGE pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It comes fitted with an LED light bar and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw. It was previously based at Tanunda. It replaces the existing 22 year old Isuzu based Avenue Range 34 which is being assessed for future use. Thanks Andrew Hogg for the photo.
