Submitted By Pip

Dalkeith took delivery of a new 14 this evening.

The new Dalkeith 14 is based on an Isuzu NPS 75-155, is 4 x 4 and carries 1550 litres of water.

Built by Moore Engineering it is fitted with an Isuzu 3CA1-AZP01 motor / Darley 1.5 AGE pump.

It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system.

It comes fitted with an LED light bar and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Milwaulkee chainsaw.

It replaces the existing 22 year old Mitsubishi Canter based Dalkeith 14, which will be allocated to another brigade.

Thanks Dalkeith CFS for the photo.
