World Firefighter Games, 2002

The World Firefighter Games for 2002 is to be held in Christchurch NZ from October 26th to November 2002 and will be the Memorial Games. It is open to all volunteer firefighters, and also spouses for some events. The World Firefighters Games is similar to a mini-Olympics involving a variety of individual and team sporting events and including a number of events which are specific to the firefighters emergency service role.
