CFS Crews assisting in NSW Fires

Over 400 CFS members are heading to New South Wales to assist in the bushfire fighting efforts. Several appliances left on Friday (28th Dec), and are heading over in convoy, with the rest of the crews flying over Saturday (29th Dec). Crews are expected to be working on the fires for up to 7 days. The 400 firefighters represent less than 2% of the CFS. To the firefighters heading to Sydney - stay safe and come home soon
