New Communications Centre for the Gumeracha Group

The SA Country Fire Service has acquired the former Adelaide Hills Gumeracha Council Chambers and transformed it into the new BGumeracha Group Communications Centre. The new operations centre was officially declared open by CFS Chief Executive Officer Mr Vince Monterola in a special ceremony held on location on Sunday 16th June. Special guests at the ceremony included Adelaide Hills Mayor Mr Bill Cooksley, Member for Kavel The Honourable Mark Goldsworthy, CFS staff and volunteers and other emergency service representatives. Local hills residents will still be able to use the centre for community events. Pictured is Gumeracha Lieutenant 3, Gary Brock at the new operations desk.
