Welcome to the Leigh Creek brigade!! Following the departure of Alinta Energy from Leigh Creek (including the company sponsored fire brigade), members of the Leigh Creek & Copley communities have stepped up, and joined the Leigh Creek CFS. In mid February, several new members completed the CFS Basic Firefighter -1 (BF1) course, which gave them the basic skills to respond to emergencies in their area. They will be utilising the previous Leigh Creek 24, as well as one of the Region 4 spare appliances. Initially, they will utilise the fire station at Black Oak Dr, Leigh Creek. Welcome to the CFS family!
