Marree took delivery of a refurbished 24 last night. The new Marree 24 is based on a 2000 Isuzu FTS750 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 2000 litres of water. Originally built by Australian Fire Company, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L1011F motor / Darley HE500 pump. It replaces the 29 year old Hino based Marree 34, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
