34P for Kimba

Kimba took delivery of a refurbished 34P tonight. The new Kimba 34P is based on a 2011 Isuzu FTS800 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire & Rescue it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Gaam MK450 pump. It was previously based at Athelstone. It replaces the existing 23 year old Hino based Kimba 24, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
