New 44 for Wards Hill

Wards Hill took delivery of a new 44 today. The new Wards Hill 44 is based on a 2017 Isuzu FTS 139-240 Crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 4000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz F3L2011W motor / Darley 2.5 AGE pump. It is a replacement for the 25 year old Hino based Wards Hill 24, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
