Refurbished 34 for Calca

Calca took delivery of a refurbished 34 today. The new Calca 34 is based on a 2007 Isuzu FTS750 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Varley Special Vehicles, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Gaam Mk450 pump. It was previously based at Mt Torrens. It is a replacement for the existing 27 year Hino based Calca 34, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
