Refurbished 34 for Sheringa

Sheringa took delivery of a refurbished 34 today. The new Sheringa 34 is based on a 2011 Isuzu FTS800 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Gaam Mk450 pump. It was previously based at Lochiel. It is a replacement for the existing 28 year Hino based Sheringa 24, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
