New 44 for Virginia

Virginia took delivery of a new 44 yesterday. The new Virginia 44 is based on a 2018 Isuzu FTS 139-260 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 4000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire & Rescue it is fitted with a Deutz BF3L2011W motor / Darley 2.5 AGE pump. It replaces the existing 25 year old Hino based Virginia 24, which will be evaluated for ongoing operational use.
