Refurbished 24P for Western Districts

Western Districts (on Kangaroo Island) took delivery of a refurbished 24P today. The new Western Districts 24P is based on a 2000 Isuzu FTS750 Crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 2000 litres of water. Built by Australian Fire Company, it is fitted with a Deutz B40FL motor / Darley HE500 pump. It was previously based at Penola. It replaces the existing 24 year old Hino based Western Districts 34, which has already been sent to salvage.
