34 for Melrose

Melrose took delivery of a 34 yesterday. The new Melrose 34 is based on a 2007 Isuzu FTS750 Crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Varley, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Gaam Mk450 pump. It was previously based at Port Germein. It replaces the 23 year old Hino based Melrose 34, which was removed from service in March 2020.
