Koppio took delivery of a refurbished 34 today. The new Koppio 34 is based on a 2008 Isuzu FTS800 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Moore Engineering it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Darley HE500 pump. It comes fitted with Hella driving lights and an Engel fridge. It was previously based at Lobethal. It replaces the existing 27 year old Hino based Koppio 24, which will be sent to salvage.
