Wangary took delivery of a refurbished 34 today. The new Wangary 34 is based on a 2009 Isuzu FTS800 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Moore Engineering it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Gaam Mk450 pump. It comes fitted with driving lights and a Waeco fridge, and equipped with a chainsaw. It was previously based at Langhorne Creek. It replaces the existing 24 year old Hino based Wangary 24, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
