New 44 CAFS for Mount Schank

Mount Schank took delivery of a new 44 CAFS today. The new Mount Schank 44 CAFS (Compressed Air Foam System) is based on a 2019 Isuzu FTS 139-260 chassis, is 4 x4 and carries 4000 of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz F3L2011 motor / Darley 2.5 AGE pump. It comes fitted with a Light Force LED light bar and Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw. It replaces the existing 27 year old Hino based Mount Schank 24, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
