New 44 for Tailem Bend

Tailem Bend took delivery of a new 44 last night. The new Tailem Bend 44 is based on a 2021 Isuzu FTS 139-260 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 4000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz F3L2011 motor / Darley 2.5 AGE pump. It comes fitted with a halo protection system, LED light bar and Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw. It replaces the existing 10 year old Isuzu based Tailem Bend 44, which will be refurbished and sent to another brigade.
