Lock took delivery of a refurbished 14 tonight. The new Lock 14 is based on a 2013 Isuzu NPS300 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries around 1000 litres of water. Built by Quik Corp, it is fitted with a Kubota D722 motor / Darley 1.5 AGE pump. It comes fitted with driving lights and Engel fridge and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw. It was previously based at Coffin Bay. It replaces the existing 24 year old Mitsubishi based Lock 14, which will be sent to salvage.
