Curramulka took delivery of a new 44 today.

The new Curramulka 44 is based on a 2021 Isuzu FTS 139-260 Crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 4000 litres of water.

Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz F3L2011 motor / Darley 2.5 AGE pump.

It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system.

It comes fitted with an LED light bar and Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw.

It replaces the existing 19 year old Isuzu based Curramulka 34, which will be refurbished and sent to another brigade.

Thanks Dean Norman for the photo.
