New 34P for Tumby Bay

Tumby Bay took delivery of a new 34P today. The new Tumby Bay 34P is based on a 2021 Isuzu FTS 139-260 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011W motor / Darley HE500 pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It comes fitted with an LED light bar and Engel fridge, and equipped with battery powered tools - including a Stihl chainsaw, a Stihl quick cut saw and Ramfan Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV) fan. It replaces the existing 24 year old Isuzu based Tumby Bay 24P, which will be sent for disposal. Thanks Braeden Gatt for the photo.
