34 for Monbulla

Monbulla took delivery of a reallocated 34 on Friday. The new Monbulla 34 is based on a 2007 Isuzu FTS750 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Varley, it is fitted with a Deutz motor / Gaam Mk450 pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It was previously based at Mil Lel. It replaces the existing 23 year old Isuzu based Monbulla 24, which will be sent for disposal. Thanks Region 5 HQ for the photo.
