34P for Glossop

Glossop took delivery of a re-allocated 34P yesterday (Monday). The new Glossop 34P is based on a 2016 Isuzu FTS800 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011W motor / Darley HE500 pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It was previously based at Paringa It replaces the 5 year old Isuzu based Glossop 34, which will be reallocated to another brigade. Thanks Region 3 HQ for the photo.
