Region 3 Field Day

The annual Region 3 Field Day will be held on Sunday 1st August, in and around Tailem Bend. The day, hosted by the Coorong and Coonalpyn CFS Groups involves CFS crews from across Region 3 (which stretches from Callington, through the Mallee, and the Riverland area) to take part in a range of training exercises, aimed at teaching new skills, and practising existing ones. Exercises include Pumping, Road Crash Rescue first response, Gas fires, as well as sessions on dealing with Clan labs, and dealing with electrical hazards within burning structures. Displays by various suppliers of CFS equipment will also be on show. Crews will assemble at the Tailem Bend Oval, ready for an 8.00 am start.
