CFS Promotions Unit website photographer Ashes has been highly commended for one of his photographs at the recent Emergency Management Australia (EMA) awards, presented in Canberra. More than 200 photographs were entered in the competition, highlighting emergency volunteers in all types of situations, from response and recovery operations, in training exercises and in community awareness education programs. Ashes photograph was entitled "School visit"
