It�s show time! The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) has had a long standing involvement with the Royal Adelaide Show held annually at the Wayville Showgrounds. Over the past two years CFS has been lucky enough to have a demonstration in the main arena, �Fifteen Minutes of Flame� proved to be a huge success for CFS with a high level of participation from volunteers. To ensure the main arena demonstrations stay fresh, the Royal Adelaide Show have a two year limit on performances, for this reason the CFS will be going back to a static display to be manned by volunteers and staff this year. Volunteers have always been an integral part of the success of our Royal Show involvement. This year the Royal Show will be held from 7 � 15 September and registrations of interest are being sought from volunteers who are keen to participate. The static display will be designed around our Fire Danger Season campaign of �Bushfire Ready�. We are looking for volunteers who enjoy speaking and interacting with the general public and can point them in the right direction to get information.
