Photos taken at the Balaklava High School Road Safety demonstration are now available. Go to "Photos" on the menu to your left, => Large Incidents and follow the prompts. The mock crash was organised by student Trent Chadborne, and involved CFS crews from Balaklava and Port Wakefield, SAAS crews from Balaklava and Mallala, and local police, showing students the consequences of a serious road crash. Two students were involved in a mock rollover, and were trapped inside the car, while a third was ejected. SAAS Crews worked to stabilise the two seriously injured casualties, while the CFS crews provided fire cover, and used hydraulic cutting equipment to get the casualties out of the car.
