Dalkeith CFS bushfire garden & Open Day

Dalkeith CFS are having a station open day, and bushfire garden demonstration on 17th October. Dalkeith CFS have planted a bushfire prevention garden around their station, to showcase fire retardant plants, as well as demonstrating various fire breaks that can be used in gardens in semi rural & rural areas. As well as the garden, there is an Open station, with members of the public welcome to walk through the station and have a close up look at the four Dalkeith CFS appliances. The Open day runs from 10 am to 3pm at the Dalkeith Fire station on the corner of Dalkeith & Coventry Roads, Munno Para A BBQ is also available All welcome
