Photos taken at a house fire exercse at Verdun on 4th October are now available. Go to Photos on the menu to your left => Large Incidents and follow the links. The house was to be demolished, and was given to the local CFS to use for a training exercise. Following relevant approvals from Local Council, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and CFS, the empty house was set alight, enabling crews to stand back and watch the development and behaviour of the fire.
