Fire Restrictions - now statewide

Fire Restrictions commenced in the remaining three fire ban districts - Adelaide Metro, Mt Lofty Ranges and Kangaroo Island on 1st December. The restrictions include a ban on burning in the open, along with various other restrictions on use of certain types of machinery, and other restictions. Permits may be issued in some areas for burning in the open. Different arrangements may exist in the different areas of the state - contact your local council, or CFS Regional Office for further clarification.
