Farm Fire Units (FFU) are private vehicles, generally used by property owners / occupiers for fire protection on thier own properties. In the event of a fire in the vicinity, farm fire units often respond to assist, working side by side with CFS crews. It is important for farm fire units to follow the CFS Guidelines contained in the SACFS Private Farm Fire Unit Handbook (available on the CFS website).
