The CFS look after a large percentage of the Metropolitan area, in the Adelaide environs, or in more regional centres.
The term "Metropolitan area' means any are which is a built up area, containing housing and its associated infrastructure. The majority of risks in this type of area are individual houses and shopping centers mixed in between these dwellings.
